What a week!

Wow it has been quite a week here - an exhausting one! Here is how it went.....


Monday - work, meeting at lunch, another meeting after that meeting, leave SIU to head home to pick up Eli, drive back to C'dale for his 4pm well check (very healthy!), drive back home, go to girls basketball game at 5:30 because Delainey is running a little scrimmage during half-time of the freshman game (so cute!), watch a little of the JV game, pick up Cait at the Hill's house, go home and start bedtime routine.


Tuesday - to work early at work on 2nd & 3rd grade kids with the students (many of which were challenging), head back to campus, work at my desk for a while, go shop at Aldi's, head home and unload groceries, eat supper, pick up Cait, head home and referee fights, start bedtime routine.


Wednesday - go to work early and observe classroom presentations for kindergarten kids all morning, the head to the other school to work on 2nd & 3rd graders, usher in 60+ kids in groups of 5-10 for exams, go home, get Cait, relax a little because Shawn is home...


Thursday - go to work early and work on 2nd & 3rd graders with challenging patients again, go back to SIU and do paperwork, sterilize instruments, pack supplies for the next day, stay at work a little longer than I intended to, go home, Shawn picks up Cait and heads to a ballgame, take all 3 kids to family reading night by myself, carry Cait on my hip all around the school because she won't stay in a stroller, attempt to keep Cait quiet while the teachers are reading and fail, leave after 2 sessions because it was about bedtime and Momma really needed bedtime, sleep...


Friday - go to work early and place upward of 32-36 sealants and do 9 cleanings in 4 1/2 hours, go home around 2, take a short nap, Shawn brings Cait and heads out for another ballgame, take Delainey & Cait out to Delainey's piano lessons, come home and pick up Eli from my parent's house, go home, fix snack, referee children, go to bed at earliest possible time.


Today! - got to sleep in for an hour while Shawn went up front with the kids, made cinnamon rolls for breakfast, Shawn left for practice, started making Tres Leche cake, ate breakfast with the kids including some well-needed coffee for Mom, setting now in the basement while the kids play down here and realizing that a cat has peed on a blanket next to me.......and for the rest of the day - make lunch, Shawn will take the big kids to the library where he will be reading books on Abraham Lincoln for a bunch of kids, Cait will stay home with me where we hopefully will get a little nap, finish Tres Leche cake, go to the Hill's house tonight for dinner and some fun times, sleep.
